Painted in honor of abolitionist, Harriet Myers who ran an Underground Railroad location alongside her her husband, Stephen Myers. Currently hanging at The Underground Railroad Education Center in Albany.

What They Gonna Do

Inspired by Erykah Badu's album, "Worldwide Underground". Poem on the canvas is a found poem from songs on the album. Painting was part of the "Womanist" Art Experience with Keion Hennessey.

"Back to Life" Mural

It’s also the largest work I’ve done to date and the beginning of more and maybe even larger murals. I think it’s amazing to be able to make art that’s visible to many people and creates visibility at the same time. I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to do that with this project.

Created in partnership with Albany Center Gallery, Albany Barn, Downtown Albany, New York BID, and ParkAlbany collaborated in development, management, and execution of this #CapitalWalls mural. Curated by Tony Iadicicco, this project is funded by New York State Department of State through Albany's Downtown Revitalization Initiative award and overseen by Housing Trust Fund Corporation.
